SEMA entities are looking for an ambitious and energetic Assistant Business Developer who
could help us to expand our scope of exertion and clientele connection. You will be the front
of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective Development
strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable development growth through boosting our staff
capacity, as well as market target and forging strong relationships with our clients. The
Assistant Business Developer will report to the Chief Business Development Officer.
2. Job Description
The following are the job descriptions for Assistant Businesses Developer:
• Work closely with Chief of Business Development Officer and with staff across
departments to implement growth strategies.
• Cultivate strong relationships with new clients while maintaining existing client
relationships.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies, retention plans and analysing
data to inform or update marketing plans and strategies.
• Assist with drafting business plans, development pitches, presentations,
reference material and other documents as required.
• Assist CBDO in developing new-business proposals and presentations that
creates new opportunities and partnership.
• Assisting and updating current and future status to Management in a timely
manner.
• Delivering frameworks for the creation of business plans for individual trade
partners.
• Assist in managing overall business development functions, protect
organization’s value by keeping information confidential, performing other duties
assigned by Management.
• Assist in liaising with other heads of SEMA Group on the implementation of the
company’s strategic & operational plan including Identifying potential projects and
tenders in all sectors and industries.
• Assist in conducting research and identify new business opportunities – including
new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, services
and new ways of reaching markets.
• Training personnel and helping team members developing their skills.
• Setting targets and developing plans for business growth charts.
• Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives.
• Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)
• Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human
resources/administrative position
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities
(staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
• Good marketing and writing application skills and proficient in digital marketing
and ability to adapt to new software applications.
3. Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and other relevant subjects including
Business studies, Management, HR, marketing, ICT.
• Excellent verbal and written English communications are mandatory. Other
international and regional languages, such as Arabic will be considered.
• Strong ICT skills and knowledge of necessary software tools such as Photoshop,
PowerPoint, and other digital marketing and statistical analysis software.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in the business development/digital
marketing/human resources/external relations/management professions is
mandatory.
• Good marketing and writing application skills and proficient in digital marketing and
ability to adapt to new software applications.
4. Norms and Work Schedule
• Your regular shift working schedule is as follows, from 07:30am to 04:30 pm hrs
including 1 hr for lunch and prayer from Saturday to Thursday on weekly basis,
though you may on occasion have to work longer to meet a work deadline or when
attending an event or conference.
• You’ll be expected to dress smartly, especially for meetings, though slightly more
relaxed business casual attire may be acceptable at other times.
• The Assistant Business Developer will report to the Chief of Business Development
Officer.
